Lainie Panos
Owner & General Manager

Lainie is one of the founding partners of Primp Salonbar and oversees the day-to-day operations of the salon.  Born and raised in Charlotte, her entreprenuerial spirit led her to Raleigh where she sought out a business concept that would leverage her experience running the family restaurant/bar business with her interest in the beauty industry.  Although she won't admit it, she is a great Event Planner as well and is credited with coordinating and hosting many fabulous parties at Primp such as the launch of Grey Goose's Pear Vodka, Bailey's Mint Liquer introduction, Patron Tequila soiree, bridal showers, engagement parties and many more. Lainie epitomizes the energy and vibe of Primp Salonbar so be sure to seek her out next time you are in.

Shawntell Pichardo
Assistant Manager

Shawntell is a wonderful asset to the team, overseeing practically every detail in the salon. She is our go-to person for expert advice due to her many years experience in the salon industry. Additionally, she's such a beautiful and enthusiastic person that people are naturally drawn to her.

Andrea DePaola
Stylist

With 13 years of experience in the hair industry Andrea is truly a pro! Fashion and beauty have always interested Andrea so her chosen profession seemed like a natural fit and her customers certainly agree! She has a natural talent working with color but is equally skilled with cuts and up-do's. Professionally trained in the great state of NC as well as the big city of Atlanta, Andrea loves passing on a bit of knowledge to her clients. You can't help but learn a little something about the right styling products or the type of cut that's best for your hair texture and face. Ask her what she loves most about her job and without hesitation she'll say "her clients" and it shines through with everyone she touches.

Kristina Johnson
Stylist

Kristina is a very creative stylist with a flair for producing gorgeous hair styles for her clients.  In fact, the ability to create something new every day is what attracted her to the profession in the first place. With 3 years of experience in the hair industry, Kristina has already mastered the art of the Men's cut and has a special knack for dry cutting, which is more difficult than a wet cut but produces precision results.  Kristina receives many requests for her services from local photographers and fashion models for photo shoots, runway work and print ads. She has done work for Guess, Rouge and Social Magazine, to name a few. Kristina received her training at the International Institute of Hair Design but continues her education through ongoing color classes and hands on training.

Charles Linker
Stylist

With 17 years experience as a professional hair stylist, Charles has trained on both coasts with a variety of different brands giving him unique insight into the best techniques and hottest trends in the industry.  His warm smile, kind personality and ability to bring out the best in others attract a loyal following of clients. Though he was born and raised in Raleigh, Charles's skills landed him a job in Hollywood as a Hair & Make-up Assistant on the Young & Restless. His drive and motivation led him back to Raleigh where he owned his own salon and received Spectator Magazine's Best Salon in the Triangle award in 2000. Charles specializes in color application and has worked as an educator for other stylists. We are fortunate to have Charles on our staff of talented artists.

Lisa Harrison
Stylist

Lisa is a master at the men's cut, women's cut, color, up-do's....you name it, she can do it and you will be back for more. She has a keen eye and a talented hand and her clients rave about her.

Alecks Eason
Stylist

Meet Alecks, he’s a bit of a celebrity around town known for creating stylish do’s on the many gorgeous women and men that come to Primp. Alecks has a certain je ne sai pas about him but one quickly realizes that an hour in his chair is likely to produce jaw dropping results. Formally trained at Sebastian in LA, RUSK and the Institute of Cosmetic Art, Alecks specializes in hair and make-up. His ability to consistently create edgy styles for his clients is one reason he is sought after for photo shoots, fashion shows and weddings. His mantra is “you can never be too sexy” and if you don't believe me just ask the Deal or No Deal models he recently serviced. You thought they were sexy before they came to Primp, you should have seen them when they left!

Nick Rhodes
Stylist

Nick has been improving the looks of men and women on the East Coast for the last 9 years. He received formal training in PA and DC and worked in MD before landing in Raleigh. Don't let his laid back, easy going style fool you, Nick is very serious about color and helping clients choose options that maintain their hair's integrity. He is also very skilled in the art of the shorter cut, where he is able to create a style that suits his client's face as well as their personality and lifestyle. Nick participates in a regimen of on-going advanced training to stay on top of the latest trends. When he is not behind the chair, Nick applies his creative talent to various interior design projects around his new home or working on his car.
